The Manager, Data Strategy and Measurement, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) will play a key part in Jumpstartu2019s commitment to strengthening community sport across Canada, and in ensuring all kids have an opportunity to realize the transformational benefits of participating in sport and play.
Specifically, the role will support the development and implementation of an organization-wide data strategy that understands the needs of children & youth, steers what and why Jumpstart invests in, and supports delivery across the organization. In addition, the Manager, Data Strategy & MEL will manage and support the design, delivery and evolution of Jumpstartu2019s MEL framework across the organization to ensure Jumpstart programs continue to deepen impact on kids and communities across Canada.
What Youu2019ll Do

Develop and implement an organization-wide data strategy that understands the needs of children and youth, steers what and why Jumpstart invests in, and supports delivery across the organization.u2022
Manage and support the design, delivery and evolution of Jumpstartu2019s Measurement, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) framework across the organization u2022
Develop, manage and execute data and MEL initiatives designed to build charity capacity and credibility and which align to strategic objectives u2022
Develop and execute strategies designed to support Jumpstartu2019s thought leadership agendau2022
Identify, develop and manage relationships and partnerships (internal & external) designed to enhance the standards and credibility of Jumpstartu2019s Data Strategy & MEL framework, including effective knowledge transfer and mobilizationu2022
Support engagement through professional development and capacity building strategies in areas related to data and MEL.
What You Bring
u2022
Undergraduate degree in a related disciplineu2022
At least 8+ years experience in building and executing data strategies, impact measurement design, execution, and evaluation.u2022
Demonstrated leadership and knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) and its application, including a solid understanding of data privacy, ethical considerations, and enterprise IT systems and software to support responsible and effective use of data, particularly within social impact contextsu2022
Demonstrated experience collecting, analyzing and utilizing quantitative and qualitative data, including developing knowledge transfer tools and resources for diverse sets of audiences.u2022
Demonstrated professional expertise in using data and impact measurement strategies to identify need and remove barriers to participation; experience applying these approaches within sport, recreation, or the broader social impact sector is a strong asset.u2022
Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights and effectively communicate and present to diverse internal and external audiences.u2022
Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams, vendors, and external partners to deliver high-quality, impact-driven outcomes.u2022
Valid driveru2019s license and ability to travel as needed to support engagement with partners, communities, and key strategic activities.u2022
Proven track record of effective internal and external relationship management.u2022
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to pro-actively identify and build value added analytics/reporting.u2022
Excellent communication skillsu2022
High degree of customer service and focusu2022

Broadband Salary Range: 79,000.00 - 131,000.00 CAD Annual
Our typical hiring range is between $110,000.00 - 118,000.00 CAD per annum. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements
