Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, they are responsible for the direct and indirect patient care of our residents, creating and maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment. The CNA/MT will administer medications via oral, topical vaginal, and rectal routes and by inhalation (i.e. puffs). They will be required to chart all medications given, omitted, or refused. The CNA/MT will assist with the activities of daily living, including but not limited to assisting with personal hygiene, aiding with mobility, and assisting with mealtimes./ppJob Requirements/pulliEducation: Graduate of a Maine State Board-approved CNA course/liliActive on Maine CNA registry/liliGraduate of Maine State-approved Certified Medication Administration program/liliExperience: At least 1 year of previous CNA experience required/liliOther Skills Required: Excellent customer services skills/liliExcellent written, verbal, and oral communication skills/liliMedical terminology is preferred, but not required/li/ul/div
