Our mission: Through the hearts of our Care Team Members, we provide excellent healthcare to those we serve./ppOur Core Values.../ppL - Listening/ppE - Empathy/ppA - Accountability/ppD - Decisiveness/ppThis is how we create a culture to LEAD with Love./ph3Position Overview:/h3pThe QMA is a member of the community nursing team whose responsibility is set up, administer, and record certain prescribed medications for residents in the community under supervision of a licensed nurse and as allowed by state and federal regulatory agencies./ph3Key Responsibilities:/h3ulliPrepare and administer regularly prescribed oral, eye, nasal, and ear medications to residents. Administrations must be administered safely and documented./liliPrepare and administer topical medications to intact skin./liliAdminister PRN drugs, as allowed, when authorized by a license nurse./liliCheck physician orders against medication forms./liliMaintain cleanliness and proper storage of all drugs while maintaining a clean working environment./liliKeep medication cart locked while unattended./liliCare for and position all resident tubing and bags as instructed./liliMake rounds and report needs and conditions to the charge nurse as applicable./liliAdminister vital signs and document properly./liliKeep medical records current by charting pertinent resident conditions timely and routine charting as scheduled, with co-signature by a licensed nurse./liliOrder medications from pharmacy per physician order./liliUse appropriate drug reference if ever unsure or unclear as to drug being administered./liliCount all drugs on Individual Control Drug Records with on-coming charge CTM at shift change./liliAnswer call lights, bed/chair sensors, and security care bracelet (if applicable) alarms promptly and courteously./li/ulh3Qualifications:/h3p Certified as a Qualified Medication Aide in the state employed; certificate must be active, valid, and in good standing./pp Certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state employed; certificate must be active, valid, and in good standing./ph3Majestic Difference Benefits:/h3ullipQuarterly Pay Increase/p/lilipDaily Pay/p/lilipCompany-Paid Life Insurance/p/lilipTelehealth Services/p/lilipDouble Pay on Holidays/p/lilipCare Team Member Relief Fund/p/li/ulpJoin the Majestic Care team where compassion meets excellence!/p/div
