eir business talent are currently seeking applicants for an AIProgramme Manager. This is a day rate contractposition located with our client in Dublin/Cork. We are currently partnering with a large organisation to recruit an experienced AI Programme Manager to lead a significant enterprise AI initiative. This is a high-impact role requiring a strong delivery-focused programme leader with proven experience managing complex transformation programmes, ideally within large-scale or regulated environments. The successful candidate will take ownership of a major enterprise AI programme, driving delivery from mobilisation through to execution and business adoption. While the programme will follow an Agile delivery model, it operates within a structured environment that requires strong Waterfall-style governance, funding control, and reporting discipline. As such, the ideal candidate will be comfortable operating across both methodologies. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of an enterprise AI programme across multiple workstreams Define and manage programme roadmap, governance, reporting, and delivery structure Operate effectively across Agile and Waterfall approaches, balancing flexibility with control Manage programme risks, dependencies, budget, and delivery milestones Engage senior stakeholders and provide clear, structured programme reporting Chair governance forums and drive decision-making across the programme lifecycle Manage third-party vendors and delivery partners Ensure alignment between programme objectives, funding constraints, and organisational priorities Drive business readiness, adoption, and successful transition into operations Required Experience Proven experience as a Programme Manager or Programme Director leading complex enterprise programmes Demonstrable experience delivering enterprise AI programmes at scale Strong experience working across Agile and Waterfall delivery environments Experience operating within structured governance frameworks (e.g. stage gates, funding approvals, reporting cycles) Strong stakeholder management, particularly with senior business and technology leaders Experience managing multiple vendors and cross-functional teams Desirable Experience within utilities, infrastructure, or other highly regulated environments Previous involvement in large-scale digital or data transformation programmes For more information please apply here or contact Niall Moloney/ niall(dot) Ref: EBT80801 Candidates must be eligible to work full time and long term in the location specified or currently hold a valid appropriate long term work Visa to apply. eirbusinesstalent, eir business and our clients are equal opportunity employers who seeks to recruit and appoint the best available person for a job regardless of marital / civil partnership status, sex (including pregnancy), age, religion, belief, race, nationality and ethnic or national origin, colour, sexual orientation or disability. eirbusiness talent, eirbusiness and our clients apply all relevant Data Protection laws when processing your Personal Data.
