This role reports to our VP of Commercial Services and is at the forefront of our expansion into the small and medium business market. As a key driver of commercial services growth, the Account Executive will focus on adding new monthly recurring revenue (MRR) while maintaining a high level of activity to generate results. The ability to articulate IQ Fibers unique value proposition in the marketplace will be key to achieving success./ppIn this role, youll have the chance to build relationships, solve problems, and help businesses within our network unlock their full potential through our reliable fiber-optic internet services. As a valued team member, youll find a supportive environment that encourages innovation, values your voice, and celebrates your successes./ph3Essential Duties and Responsibilities:/h3ulliConsistently achieve or surpass assigned sales targets, demonstrating a strong commitment to driving revenue growth for the company./liliFocus sales efforts on businesses located within or close to IQ Fibers existing network infrastructure to maximize efficiency and profitability./liliDevelop a comprehensive understanding of IQ Fibers product portfolio and effectively communicate the benefits of each service to potential customers./liliActively seek out new business opportunities through various channels, including extensive cold calls, networking events, and industry conferences./liliContinuously expand your professional network and identify innovative ways to generate high-quality leads for the business./liliStay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to provide strategic insights./liliDevelop and manage a robust pipeline of potential deals, ensuring proper qualification and prioritization of leads./liliIdentify and pursue opportunities that offer the highest potential for profitability, particularly those within IQ Fibers existing network coverage./liliProvide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts./liliQualify sales opportunities and coordinate internal resources for effective sales support and execution./liliWork closely with internal teams to ensure effective alignment and coordination between sales activities and support functions./liliMonitor the progress of both potential and closed deals, proactively addressing any issues to maintain timely execution./liliDemonstrate flexibility and willingness to take on other responsibilities that contribute to the companys overall success./li/ulh3Required Qualifications:/h3ulliBachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience/liliMinimum 5+ years of outside, sales experience in broadband or telecommunications/liliProven track record of consistent sales production/liliAbility to maintain a high level of door-to-door prospecting activity/liliExcellent written and oral communication skills/liliWillingness to travel and work nights and weekends to reach sales goals, attend meetings, tradeshows, events, and other business travel as required/liliWorking knowledge of computers and Customer Relationship Management tools/liliAbility to work independently/liliStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills/liliAbility to collaborate with diverse personalities/liliCapability to work completely and accurately under time constraints and deadlines/liliStrong attention to detail/liliAbility to maintain a productive and positive environment/liliCommitment to working in a safe and effective manner/liliMust be able to pass criminal, DVR, and drug testing/li/ulpPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
