Job Description
We are looking for a
Security Analyst
to provide Tier 2 support for Microsoft 365 messaging and collaboration environments, ensuring system reliability, security, and high-quality end user support. This position will be a
part-time contract role (15 hours per week)
and is
hybrid
, requiring one onsite day and one remote day per week, with onsite work located in
Concord, NH
.
What You'll Do
Provide Tier 2 support for messaging and collaboration issues via ticketing systems, chat, phone, and in-person support
Manage Exchange Online mailboxes, shared mailboxes, and distribution lists, including user access and permissions
Troubleshoot Microsoft Teams functionality including meetings, chat, and channels
Create and manage Exchange and Teams objects and configurations
Administer user permissions and access controls for messaging and collaboration tools
Assist with multi-factor authentication (MFA), conditional access policies, mailbox auditing, and compliance-related activities
Monitor Microsoft 365 service health dashboards and proactively address alerts and service disruptions
Perform daily system health checks across applications and servers, resolving or escalating issues as needed
Report outages and escalate to helpdesk or support teams when required
Maintain and update knowledge base articles, troubleshooting guides, and process documentation
Monitor CrowdStrike dashboards and respond to user support requests related to endpoint security
Provide consistent, high-quality customer service and technical support to a large end-user population
What You'll Need
Required:
Strong experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online and Teams administration
Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID for authentication and access management
Experience providing Tier 2 technical support in messaging and collaboration environments
Experience managing user accounts, permissions, and messaging objects in enterprise environments
Familiarity with MFA, conditional access, and security/compliance best practices
Experience troubleshooting messaging systems, collaboration platforms, and endpoint environments
Strong knowledge of Windows environments and Office 365 administration
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to document processes and maintain knowledge base content
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to provide support
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

$40 per hour
The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will include 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
