divh2Shift Leader/h2pThe Shift Leader assists the Restaurant Manager with management activities and duties. The Shift Leader works with the Restaurant Management Team to ensure all activities are consistent with and support the restaurants business plan. The Shift Leader ensures all Team Members perform their job responsibilities and meeting expectations in all areas of their job description. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age./ppESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:/pulliTakes necessary action to ensure all Guest receive SUPERSTAR Service; anticipates and exceeds the Guests needs; handles situations and requests immediately in a positive manner/liliEffectively paths the restaurant to monitor all aspects of the restaurants operation to anticipate problems; takes initiative to correct problem areas immediately./liliConsistently enforces and maintain all Quality, Service, and Cleanliness standards./liliMonitors and maintains proper staffing level and labor costs./liliCreate a friendly atmosphere for employees and Guests./liliEffectively train Crew Members./liliProvide direction and supervision for Team Members./liliSupport efforts to maximize sales and profits and minimize controllable costs./liliEffectively plan, organize, and implement all operational routines and activities during your shift./liliRole model and set a positive example for the entire team./li/ulpJOB EXPECTATIONS/pulliConsistently meets job expectations to positively impact the sales and profits of the restaurant./liliContributes to the restaurants success by accomplishing the expected work during each shift; consistently produces quality work./liliSupports the goals, decisions and directives of the Restaurant Management Team; performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by management./liliFollows all company guidelines for food and cash controls, follows all cost control guidelines to maintain and minimize restaurant costs; properly uses all products, supplies, equipment and facilities./li/ulpEDUCATION/ppHigh school diploma or equivalent./ppHOURS/ppMust be able and willing to work flexible hours including morning, evening, and weekend shifts/ppExperience/ppMust be a minimum of 18 years of age/ppSKILLS AND ABILITIES/pulliAbility to get results through others./liliOrganizational, planning and time management skills/liliTeam building skills./liliProblem solving skills./liliGood verbal and written communication skills/liliAbility to take initiative./liliOccasionally lift heavy weight comfortably/li/ulpPhysical Abilities:/pulliStand for long periods of time./liliWork around heat./liliWork around others in close quarters./liliMove throughout the restaurant and observe restaurant operations and employee work performance./liliWork with various cleaning products/li/ul/div
