divh2Business Development Representative/h2pThe Business Development Representative collects product specifications for CHCs lines, supports fellow CHC Business Development Representatives, and collaborates with consulting engineers, design/build contractors, and large end-users in the mechanical and plumbing sectors as assigned./ph3Essential Functions/h3ulliClient Interaction/liulliRegularly visits and communicates with clients./liliReceives an expense account and car allowance./liliSchedules customer visits and Lunch and Learns with factory personnel./liliSupports corrective actions in collaboration with the service department./li/ulliSalesforce Management/liulliUpdates and creates Business Development Rep opportunities in Salesforce./liliTracks project progress./liliProvides input to CHCs Salesforce CRM on new projects, engineering offices, and client changes./liliOffers timely project updates to the Business Tracking System./li/ulliTechnical Expertise/liulliInterprets construction bid documents to generate equipment selections and budget-pricing quotations using Salesforce./liliCreates submittal packages and handles follow-up requests./liliWorks with the Quotations Department for custom-engineered product quote descriptions./li/ulliRelationship Building/liulliEstablishes strong connections with engineers, end-users, and architects./liliEducates and develops business in the HVAC R sector within the BD Reps territory./li/ulliProduct Knowledge/liulliMaintains up-to-date product specifications for all items on the CHC line card./liliProvides technical support to the Sales Department./liliStays informed on new product offerings and changes./li/ulliCollaboration/liulliAssists the Sales Department by clarifying specifications and selecting effective strategies for project bids./liliWorks with Quote Developers as needed./li/ulliDocumentation and Review/liulliSelects equipment using manufacturers sizing software./liliReviews plans and specifications with the quotation department./li/ulliAdministrative/liulliActs resourcefully and innovatively to solve problems and complete tasks./liliCommunicates clearly and concisely with customers and within the organization./li/ulliCompetencies/liulliDetail-oriented/liliFollow through/liliTime Management/liliThoroughness/liliOrganized/li/ulliTravel/liulliTravel is expected for this position/li/ulliRequired and Education Experience/liulliB.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical degree or suitable work experience./liliWorking knowledge of email, Internet Explorer, Excel, and Word./li/ulliPreferred and Education Experience/liulliExperience with Sales Force and Financial Force or similar ERP./liliExperience with inside or outside sales in the hydronic, steam, Airside (HVAC R) or commercial plumbing industry./liliExtensive knowledge of HVAC R equipment and applications./li/ul/ulpOther Duties/ppThis job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
