Job Description

Summary: The Retail Thrift Backroom Production Associate will play a fundamental role in achieving our customer satisfaction and revenue growth objectives. The Production Association will play a key role in the pricing of merchandise for our customers and building customer loyalty. The Production Associate is an ambassador for Green Country Habitat for Humanity and often makes a first impression of the organization to donors and customers, therefore a positive attitude is necessary.

  • Assist in all departments including Sales Floor (placing clothing on rack; Fitting Rooms (letting customers into fitting rooms); Customer Service; Color Coordinating clothing on racks, removal of non-selling items from racks for recycling.
  • Sorting, pricing, and sales floor placement of all store goods.
  • Pricing of clothing, shoes, and home goods
  • Process donated inventory quickly and efficiently.
  • Conduct themselves professionally. Has a clean and neat appearance and positive attitude.
  • Maintain store and facility; clean shelves, bathrooms, and retail displays as well as restock merchandise as needed
  • Provide support to management and complete other duties as assigned.
  • Ensures policies and procedures are closely followed.
  • Be an Ambassador for Green Country Habitat for Humanity and the Store.
  • Other Duties: Load items in a safe and courteous fashion. Assist in unloading truck following dock guidelines. Operate powerlift equipment and/or various power tools.
  • Safety: Maintain a workplace free from serious recognized hazards and comply with safety standards, rules, and regulations. Use tools available to maintain a safe environment. Educate yourself on hazards, safety practices and rules. Communicate about any unsafe practices and conditions. Always follow all safety rules and regulations. See something, say something.
Position Requirements - Skills / Abilities

Ability to handle multiple tasks in a deadline orientated environment. Ability to work a flexible work schedule including Saturday and Sunday required. Detail oriented.

Experience / Education: High School or GED equivalent. Retail production experience preferred.

Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time
