We are currently recruiting for an Occupational Therapist Aide to join our team!/ppBenefits of this position:/pulliHealth, Dental and Vision Insurance/liliTuition Reimbursement/liliPaid Time Off/liliGreat Work Environment/lili401k matched at 10%/liliFlexible Hours (8 hour shifts)/liliPaid Holidays/liliSame day pay with Tapcheck/liliJob location: Abbotsford, WI/li/ulpPurpose of this position:/ppThe purpose of this position is to treat and document care for residents with impaired ability to perform at an independent level due to disease process under the supervision of an occupational therapist; participate in the interdisciplinary team meetings as required./ppEssential Job Duties Responsibilities:/pulliFollow physicians orders for resident care and follow directions of the occupational therapist./liliProvide appropriate treatment to help residents maintain or attain the highest level of function possible within the confines of his/her physical abilities./liliProvide appropriate treatment, preventative measures and adaptive equipment to prevent decline in residents function./liliMaintain timely and accurate resident reports as required by federal, state and local regulatory agencies and third-party payers./liliProvide adaptive equipment and preventative measures to prevent decline in residents function./liliObserve infection control procedures./liliBe responsible for the safety of residents under his/her supervision./liliConsistently work cooperatively with residents, residents representatives, facility staff, physicians, consultants and ancillary service providers./liliObserve all facility policies and procedures./liliObserve all facility safety policies and procedures./liliObserve guidelines in the employees handbook./liliFollow facility Residents Rights policies./liliAdhere to Corporate Compliance Program Code of Conduct and policies and procedures./liliAttend Corporate Compliance Program in servicing as required./liliComply with facility policies and procedures against discrimination and sexual harassment./liliProtect the privacy of resident Protected Health Information./liliProtect the confidentiality and security of all resident and facility information./liliCome to work in clean, neat attire and consistently present a professional appearance./liliCome to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrate dependability and punctuality./liliAccept assigned duties in a cooperative manner/liliPerform all duties assigned in an effective, timely and professional manner./liliSupport and respect other employees./liliAll other duties as assigned/li/ulpQualifications:/ppTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to execute each essential physical and intellectual duty as identified. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common medical information. Ability to effectively communicate with residents, their families and other healthcare professionals.
