This role supports physicians, nursing staff, and clients by performing clinical and administrative duties including phlebotomy, injections, appointment coordination, medical documentation, and client support services. Responsibilities:/h3ulliAssist physicians and nursing staff with patient care and clinic operations/liliPrepare patients for examinations and treatment procedures/liliObtain patient histories and record vital signs accurately/liliAdminister injections and perform laboratory testing and phlebotomy duties/liliMaintain exam rooms, supplies, medical equipment, and inventory/liliSchedule appointments, manage charts, and complete prior authorizations/liliProvide education and information to clients regarding clinic services and care needs/liliCommunicate lab results and medical concerns to providers and nursing staff/liliSupport coordination of medical appointments, hospital visits, and discharge planning/liliVisit residential locations as assigned to complete medical reviews and support care coordination/liliMonitor and maintain durable medical equipment and clinic logs/liliComplete documentation timely and accurately according to company policies/liliMaintain confidentiality and uphold safeguarding and HIPAA protocols/liliParticipate in required meetings, trainings, and additional duties as assigned/li/ulh3Education and/or Experience Qualifications:/h3ulliHigh school diploma or equivalent required/liliGraduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in applicable state required/liliOne year of experience in a physician office or clinical setting preferred/liliPrevious phlebotomy and laboratory experience preferred/liliCPR certification preferred/li/ulh3Required License/Certification (one of the following):/h3ulliCertified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred/liliLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in applicable state preferred/liliCurrent drivers license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance required/li/ulh3Additional Qualifications:/h3ulliStrong verbal and written communication skills/liliAbility to remain calm and professional in crisis situations/liliStrong
