401k (US) / RRSP (Canada)./liliBe part of a long standing and stable industry leader./liliCompany vehicle and gas card./li/ulpWhen You Join Us, You Will:/pulliDevelop relationships and grow sales with assigned distribution customers in territory./liliFrequently contact roofing contractors, remodelers, builders, and architects to drive demand./liliPresent products and programs to qualified distributors and end users./liliPerform product knowledge (PK) training sessions with customers./liliManage territory pricing based on competitive situations./liliFollow up on inquiries from customers or IKO administration in a timely fashion./liliManage customer accounts receivable balance and deductions./liliInvestigate and process product quality complaints in territory./liliOrganize and execute a business plan to meet territory sales goals and customer needs./liliUtilize approved sales/marketing tools within budget./li/ulpOur Ideal Candidate:/pulli2+ years of prior sales experience in building products industry preferred./liliAssociate degree required, bachelors degree preferred./liliProfessional attitude, proactive, detail-focused and deadline oriented./liliPrior sales experience calling on roofing contractors, builders and/or architects and prior professional sales training preferred./liliDemonstrated proficiency in the use computer programs such as Microsoft Office products./liliDemonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills./liliDemonstrated ability to work effectively independently as well as in a team environment./liliDemonstrated ability to calling primarily on the end user and performing pull through sales techniques./li/ulpWork Authorizations and Travel:/pulliMust be authorized to work in the United States of America/liliUp to 50% travel may be required./li/ulpBenefits of Employment: IKO recognizes that its success is due to the strength of its employees.
