NursePracticeDevelopmentCo-Ordinator About Us Stewarts Care is a long-established voluntary organisation, funded by the HSE under Section 38. We support people with intellectual disabilities through residential care, day services, independent living, job advocacy, and vocational training. Purpose of the Post Reporting to the Director of Nursing,the NursePracticeDevelopmentCo-OrdinatorwillberesponsiblefordevelopingandmonitoringnursingstandardsacrossStewarts Care services. TheNursePracticeDevelopmentCo-Ordinatorhasresponsibilityforpromotingexcellenceinclinicalcareand practice across the organisation. Experience and Qualifications RegisteredNurse IntellectualDisability (RNID) withfive yearsexperience inIDorRegisteredNursewithsevenyearsexperience inID. QQIlevel 9inarelevantpostgraduatequalification. Evidenceofparticipationincontinuedprofessionaldevelopment. MinimumtwoyearsnursingmanagementexperienceatClinicalNurse Manager2levelorhigher,whichmusthavebeeninanIntellectualDisability setting. Nurse Tutor ortrainingandeducation experiencewouldbepreferable. Onappointmentpractitionersmustmaintainliveannualregistrationinthe IntellectualDisabilityDivisionoftheRegisterofNurses&Midwivesmaintainedby(NMBI) Possessestheclinical,managerial,andadministrativecapacitytoproperly discharge the functions of the role. Salary In line with the Department of Health consolidated pay scales, the current salary scale is Clinical Nurse Manager III, €71, 432 € 80, 671 per annum (including LSI).
