Student Nurse SNAP Float Full Time Nights

Assists the unit with providing safe, competent basic nursing care for patients in accordance with approved competencies, facility policies/practices, standards, philosophy under the direction of an RN. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care.

General Responsibilities:

• Provides support to the healthcare team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills.
• Proven work history of excellent customer service skills required.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Completed the first semester at an accredited Nursing school (ASN or BSN program).
• Current American Heart Association BLS required at time of hire.
• Concurrent enrollment in a RN Nursing program or a graduate waiting initial NCLEX.
• Recommendation from a School of Nursing Instructor.
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment.
• Prior CNA experience preferred.
