We are representing a Top 10 professional services firm in Dublin currently seeking a motivated and technically strongAudit Senior Manager/Directorwith good audit experience in the SME/OMB market.This is an exceptional opportunity for someone from a small-medium sized firm background to take a step up and join a leading and high growth Top 10 firm. Key Responsibilities: Portfolio Management:Manage a portfolio of SME and owner-managed business audits from planning through to completion, ensuring the audit approach is practical and tailored to private, entrepreneurial companies. Client Advisory:Work directly with business owners and directors to resolve accounting issues, providing clear, practical guidance that supports their business decisions and long-term goals. Relationship Management:Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building close working relationships with founders and management teams, and liaising with external stakeholders such as banks and lenders. Cross-Functional Collaboration:Leverage deep client knowledge to identify broader business needs, introducing specialist internal teams for tax planning, corporate finance, or succession planning when appropriate. Financial & Project Ownership:Take responsibility for engagement economics, including budget management, staff resourcing, and timeline tracking to ensure projects are delivered profitably and efficiently. Team Development:Mentor and coach managers and senior audit staff, supporting their technical progression and helping them build confidence in managing client relationships. Process Efficiency:Promote the use of cloud accounting tools and modern workflows to streamline the audit process, minimizing disruption for client finance teams. Skills & Experience: Audit experience in a small-medium sized practice environment is preferred. A passion for delivering an excellent client experience. Strong technical skills and excellent attention to detail. Clear and confident verbal and written communication skills. A motivated, effective team player with a proactive approach.
