divh2Ambassador 1/h2pStaffs the Players Club office and issues cards to new members as well as assists guests with inquiries, transactions, and information concerning points, comps, and current/upcoming promotions. Actively recruits new memberships./ppAcknowledges, greets, and converses with guests on the gaming floor./ppPromotes the Casino Del Sol Resort by interacting with guests in an enthusiastic, helpful, and friendly manner./ppCreates and issues rewards cards and promotes the Players Club program and related promotions./ppPerforms data entry on new or changed membership information./ppIssues point vouchers and complimentaries as designated by guest account information./ppEnsures accuracy of data entry records and maintains confidentiality of guest information./ppEnsures the confidentiality of information and protection of guest rewards./ppHelps facilitate special events and slot promotions./ppNotifies management or lead of guest needs and requests they are unable to handle; follows up to ensure needs were met./ppMeets department goals and quotas which includes 70% or more in mandatory data collection./ppProduces and delivers club material./ppMaintains a constant awareness of all Casino Del Sol Resorts services, promotions, and events./ppFosters teamwork by working collaboratively with coworkers and ensuring that work is completed that brings credit to the team./ppAdheres to applicable regulatory, departmental, and Casino Del Sol Resorts policies and procedures./ppStands at main entrance and greets guests, when applicable./ppPresents a well-groomed appearance at all times./ppPerforms other job-related duties as assigned./ppKnowledge of Casino Del Sol Resorts services, promotions, and events./ppKnowledge of applicable regulatory, departmental and Casino Del Sol Resorts policies and procedures./ppOrganizational, planning, and time management skills./ppComputer proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet applications./ppGood communication skills./ppSkill in working courteously with the public as well as developing and maintaining good working relationships./ppAbility to generate business by signing up guests for the Players Club program and encouraging use of the club card./ppAbility to respond calmly and diplomatically when handling guest demands./ppAbility to keep aware of the constant changes and enhancements of the Players Club program and its benefits./ppAbility to follow directions and work effectively in a fast paced environment./ppAbility to perform basic mathematical computations pertaining to the position./ppAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form./ppAbility to work in a smoking environment./ppAbility to stand and walk for long periods./ppAbility to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, with or without a reasonable accommodation./ppAbility to operate office equipment such as a photocopier, fax machine, and ten key./ppSix months guest service experience, AND ability to read, write, speak, and understand English AND computer proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet applications./ppMust successfully pass competency assessment./ppMust present a well-groomed appearance./ppMust be able to work any shift, weekends, holidays, special events, and overtime, as needed./ppMust be able to work in a smoking environment./ppMust have employment eligibility in the U.S./ppMust be able to obtain, maintain, and retain a valid gaming license./ppHigh school or General Equivalency Diploma./ppBilingual (English/Spanish)./ppPrevious commission, telemarketing, or retail sales experience./p/div
