Job Title: Maintenance Technician Salary:Competitive plus benefits Job Type:Permanent Location:Co. Monaghan Ref: S11988 RecruitmentPlus on behalf of our client have a brilliant opportunity for a cross skilled electrical and mechanical Maintenance Technician to join a successful pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation. This is a continental shift pattern and so you must be available for both day and night shifts. Requirements: Completed apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical discipline within a manufacturing industry. A higher qualification in an Engineering discipline is desirable. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, within Pharma or a regulated environment is desirable. Can carry out electrical and mechanical fault finding and maintenance. Be knowledgeable of control systems of automated equipment. Be logical, work well in a team or alone, organised, can problem solve and able to deliver in a fast-paced environment. Able to work both day and night shifts. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Rectify and support electrical and mechanical breakdowns efficiently and effectively. Carry out routine/preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical components of the plant and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Communicate, record any changes, relevant information fully to other personnel and complete maintenance documentation. Work as an integral part of an engineering team. Take reasonable care for the health and safety of self and others, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. Ensure that all works are carried out to a high standard as expected on a Pharmaceutical plant. Ensure all H&S (Health and Safety) procedures are adhered to including Permit to Work, Comply with LOTO system at all times. Comply with Health & Safety requirements: as per training, policies, procedures, risk assessments, method statements, safe systems of work etc. Report any H&S issues/accidents/near misses to your line manager immediately. Attend training as required to maintain personal qualification/competence. Comply with the Company Equal Opportunities Policy and promote equality. Any other duties as required by line management, commensurate with the post holders level of training and competence. Create maintain & enhance effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
