My Handyman of Ann Arbor, Saline & Chelsea is looking for a motivated Inside Sales Professional to be the voice and engine of our day-to-day operations.

The Inside Sales Professional serves as the central hub of our customer-facing and operational activity. This fast-paced, multifaceted role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, loves connecting with clients, and takes pride in closing sales and driving business growth. You will manage inbound calls, prepare and sell estimates, support technician scheduling and routing, and ensure every client interaction reflects the My Handyman standard of excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Answer inbound phone calls professionally, providing prompt and helpful responses to client inquiries
  • Build rapport with clients to understand their home repair and improvement needs
  • Present and sell estimates with confidence, overcoming objections and closing jobs
  • Follow up on outstanding estimates to maximize conversion rates
  • Promote My Handyman services, highlighting our value and reputation in the community
  • Handle client questions and concerns with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach
  • Prepare accurate project estimates, balancing speed with thoroughness in a multi-task environment
  • Compile detailed larger-project estimates using Handoff AI and transfer completed estimates into Service Titan
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of estimates, bookings, and client information in Service Titan
  • Assign jobs to field Technicians based on skill set, availability, and location
  • Efficiently route Technicians to minimize drive time and maximize daily productivity
  • Communicate scheduling updates and job details to Technicians clearly and promptly
  • Monitor job progress and proactively address scheduling changes or conflicts

Required qualifications include:

  • Proven experience in inside sales, customer service, or a related role
  • Exceptional multitasking ability comfortable juggling phones, scheduling, and estimates simultaneously
  • Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
  • Confident, consultative sales approach with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals
  • Proficiency with CRM or field service management software (experience with Service Titan a plus)
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Familiarity with the home services or trades industry
  • Experience using Handoff AI or similar estimating platforms
  • Knowledge of the Ann Arbor, Saline, and Chelsea service areas
