We are seeking a Support Partner to work one-to-one with a creative, thoughtful individual who is building a meaningful, connected life in their community. This role is about partnershipsupporting personal goals, practicing communication skills, exploring interests, and having fun along the way.
The right person will enjoy meaningful conversation, creative pursuits, and supporting someone to grow confidence, independence, and community connections.
As a Support Partner, you will:
- Support building and maintaining friendships and social connections
- Help explore and participate in community activities and shared interests
- Practice back-and-forth conversation skills in a natural, respectful way
- Support the development of independent living skills
- Be a reliable, encouraging presence while respecting autonomy and choice
We're looking for someone who brings:
- Strong communication skills, especially social communication
- A natural speaking pace that is average to slightly slower (helpful for modeling)
- A good sense of humor and relaxed, casual approach
- Curiosity, flexibility, and a willingness to learn alongside someone
