Our ANDREW HELIAX Team is hiring a Field application Engineerto support and drive growth for our HELIAX product line supporting Fiber-to-the-Antenna and RF Connectivity solutions. This role involves business development, new product development, field sales support, and field technical support. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing to expand our portfolio, troubleshoot field issues and ensure successful product launches in the field. A key focus will be system and product architecture, working closely with other business units within ANDREW to meet product and customer expectations. How You'll Help Us Connect the world: The Field Application Engineer is responsible for supporting and driving growth in our HELIAX product lines. This position requires travel up to 50% of travel within U.S. Responsibilities: Provide innovative ideas, customer perspective, and research into product developments. Stay involved in the process from concept through design through execution. Actively participate in market introduction and penetration strategies. Provide innovative ideas, customer perspective, and research into product Provide engineering support for the introduction of new products, consult with customer to determine and document requirements, develop product specifications, work with product managers on the development of fit for purpose products. Provide technical assistance through sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation, and maintenance of HELIAX products Provide product and application training to customers Provide pre-sales technical support for development and implementation of complex products/ applications/ solutions for HELIAX product lines, to include modification of product application to meet customer network configurations Provide product and technical support to external and internal customers as contributing team member Sales support assisting with sales proposals, meetings, and product strategy development. Focus Areas: Support and generate opportunities with existing and new customers. Be the technical subject matter expert for HELIAX portfolio Required Qualifications: Experience in wireless telecommunications, particularly in network deployments and customer-facing role(s). Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Engineering, Telecommunication or appropriate industry knowledge with minimum 5-7 years of field/industry experience. The ability to identify opportunities for ANDREW by building strong relationships with key customers. A drive to innovate and create new products that address market challenges. Assertiveness, creativity in problem-solving, and an ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining focus on business growth. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to effectively present complex concepts to a wide audience. Strong attention to detail and proficiency in creating clear reports and presentations. You'll excite us if you have: Technically capable with prior experience working with wireless network architectures: Macro, Small Cell, DAS, etc. Experience with Fiber and RF Connectivity solutions Previous telecommunications industry experience Exhibit strong communication skills; written and verbal Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) Exhibit willingness to learn and take on new challenges Demonstrate strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills Show innovation through unique ideas and propose them to the team Why ANDREW?
