KITCHEN MANAGER Houston, TX • On-Site • Full-Time $55,000 – $70,000/year You keep the kitchen running — not just during service, but all the way through prep, inventory, hiring, and training. The Kitchen Manager at ALife works hand-in-hand with the Executive Chef and General Manager to hold the line on food quality, cost, and team performance every single day. WHAT YOU'LL OWN Supervise daily kitchen operations from prep through close — you're the constant on the line Uphold food quality, consistency, and plating standards across every dish that leaves the window Manage food inventory, ordering, and cost control to protect margins Train, coach, and schedule the kitchen team — build a crew that wants to come back tomorrow Maintain kitchen cleanliness and full health code compliance Monitor ticket flow, cooking times, and waste to keep the operation tight Support hiring, onboarding, and performance conversations WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 2+ years in kitchen leadership or a Kitchen Manager role Strong food safety and sanitation knowledge Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a kitchen team under pressure Inventory management and cost control experience Flexible schedule — nights, weekends, and holidays are part of the game Clear communicator who keeps the team aligned and the kitchen organized WHY ALIFE Health insurance for eligible team members Paid time off that grows with your tenure Family meal every shift — always on us Real growth paths — we promote from within across all our concepts A multi-brand portfolio that means more opportunities, not dead ends ALife Hospitality Group
