About Us Neuemotion is an advertising agency that takes BIG brand marketing to definable social audiences with science-backed creative ideas. Our customers range from Fortune 100 companies to startups and small businesses. Our default mode of operation is “how can we help our clients succeed in their objectives?” Founded by Ted Harrison, Twitter & X’s former Head of Production, Neuemotion applies neuroscience to content marketing in a unique blend of science and art. Science-backed creative ideas. Built for human attention. That’s Neuemotion.
Job Overview We’re looking for an Associate Director of Production to report directly to Neuemotion’s SVP of Production, who can own projects from kickoff through final delivery — at scale, across clients, and without losing the detail. This is a senior producer role with a strategic edge. You are not here to make the work — you are here to make the work happen and to build the systems that make it repeatable. You’ll sit between clients and every creative resource at Neuemotion and beyond — orchestrating execution across strategy, production, and creative teams to get work out the door at volume. You’ll manage timelines, budgets, and communication while driving production standards across a high number of concurrent workstreams. This is not a one-project-at-a-time role. You’re spinning up, running, and wrapping shoots simultaneously — scaling resources up, down, and sideways as the work demands. At Neuemotion, this role operates with full production autonomy. You’re embedded in the work — shaping how ideas come to life, identifying what’s performing and why, and moving projects forward without waiting for perfect direction.
Key Responsibilities
Production Ownership
Own projects end-to-end from intake through delivery across multiple clients and workstreams
Translate briefs into clear production plans, timelines, and resourcing
Identify risks early and solve for them proactively
Ensure creative ideas are executed efficiently without compromising quality
Project & Timeline Management
Manage a high volume of concurrent productions without losing fidelity on any of them
Build and manage detailed workback schedules across overlapping projects and pods
Keep teams aligned on priorities, deliverables, and deadlines
Run internal checkpoints to ensure work is on track and feedback is actionable
Manage multiple fast-moving productions simultaneously without losing detail
Budget & Resourcing
Scope projects independently and flag overages or risks up the chain early
Manage budgets and track hours with precision
Source and manage freelancers, vendors, and production partners
Ensure the right team is applied to the right work at the right time
Shoot & Production Execution
Own multiple shoots concurrently at any scale — you’re standing each one up, staffing it, and running it simultaneously
Build and manage all logistics: crew, gear, locations, permits, schedules, and vendor relationships
Source and hire the right people for the job; you know who to call and how to get them
Ensure production days run on time, on budget, and at standard
Serve as the decision-maker on set — not a support role, not a co-pilot
Optimization & Systems Thinking
Identify what’s working across creative output and build systems around it
Guide teams through rapid testing, platform-specific adaptation, and creative iteration without diluting the original insight
Implement workflow improvements that drive efficiency at scale
Understand how content performs across platforms and adapt production approaches accordingly
Client & Stakeholder Management
Serve as a primary point of contact for client stakeholders across assigned accounts
Communicate timelines, expectations, and updates with clarity and confidence
Translate feedback into actionable direction for internal teams
Build trust through reliability, proactive problem-solving, and creative fluency
Orchestration & Cross-Functional Coordination
Move fluidly across strategy, creative, and execution — you’re the throughline on every project you touch
Be the person everyone trusts to have the answer — or to go get it

Up to 40% of the time
