About the Role Our CFO Advisory team specializes in delivering exceptional operational accounting and finance support to private equity‑backed portfolio companies across diverse industries throughout the United States. As a Manager (or “Principal”), you’ll have hands‑on opportunities to support and lead growth‑oriented clients during critical transformation periods, directly contributing to accelerated value creation objectives for our private equity partners.

Key Responsibilities Client Service & Engagement Leadership
Lead comprehensive operational accounting and financial reporting services for high‑growth private equity‑backed companies, including post‑acquisition optimization and audit preparation
Develop sophisticated financial models and analyses aligned with specific engagement requirements and client expectations
Take full ownership of functional workstreams including post‑acquisition process optimization, audit preparation, inventory costing improvements, and sell‑side transaction support
Stakeholder Management & Communication
Interface directly with C‑suite executives and private equity deal teams to plan, manage, and execute complex project deliverables
Maintain consistent communication with key stakeholders, providing regular progress updates and strategic insights
Collaborate with Project Leads to proactively identify potential risks and obstacles while developing comprehensive mitigation strategies
Strategic Planning & Execution
Support the development and deployment of actionable plans to achieve established client expectations and value creation goals
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance client operational efficiency and financial performance
Contribute to practice growth through thought leadership and innovative service delivery approaches
Required Qualifications Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 6 years of experience in public accounting, corporate finance, or related professional services
At least 3 years of supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities
Active professional licenses as required (CPA preferred)
Core Competencies
Proven ability to manage complex client engagements from initiation through completion
Strong communication skills across all organizational levels, both internally and externally
Proficiency with relevant technology platforms and financial software applications
Flexibility to travel based on client and business requirements
Preferred Qualifications Advanced Education
Master’s degree in Accounting or MBA with accounting/finance undergraduate degree
Additional professional certifications relevant to private equity or corporate finance
Technical & Leadership Skills
Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP with experience working alongside senior management teams
Exceptional analytical and presentation capabilities with confident professional presence
Strong project management and organizational skills with high attention to detail
Self‑motivated with proven ability to excel in fast‑paced, evolving environments
