My client, a top Building & Civil Engineering contractor are now hiring a Junior Site Engineer. This company works on both Life Sciences and Residential projects in Cork & Limerick. This role will be based on projects in Cork, starting on a residential project in Cobh. Duties: Setting out engineers drawing, site surveys, as-built drawings etc Interpreting drawings for layouts, materials measure etc. Liaising and working with subcontractors and all staff across the site Planning works efficiently to ensure programme targets are achieved on time and in budget Liaising with clients representatives and Design Team as and when required Ensuring that all works are carried out in accordance with ISO standards Ordering and control of materials on site Maintaining site records as required Managing and supervising service installs particularly Uisce Eireann Assisting the QS in the re-measurement of work, daily outputs etc Completing any other duties as assigned by line manager Requirements: Degree / Diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering / Construction Management or related discipline At least 1-2 years of experience in Ireland/UK Setting out experience Knowledge of Construction Details Excellent attention to detail Proficient IT skills, including AutoCAD and Civil 3D Strong communication skills - interpersonal, written and oral Ability to work both as part of a team and on their own initiative.
