About the Role AIMdyn builds advanced analytics and decision-support software for complex, data-driven environments. This role focuses on transforming research prototypes into reliable, testable, deployable software.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain production-quality software that supports data-driven analytics and model-based decision support.
Develop modular services and tooling to enable repeatable workflows (data ingestion, validation, model execution, and reporting).
Implement robust engineering practices: automated testing, code review, documentation, and performance monitoring.
Build and maintain automated pipelines for build, test, and release (continuous integration and delivery).
Package and deploy software using containers; improve reliability and portability across multiple Linux-based environments.
Collaborate with research-focused engineers and software architecture to translate requirements into working software.
Required Technical Expertise
5+ years professional software engineering experience (or equivalent) delivering production-grade systems.
Demonstrated experience deploying and running software across Linux-based environments.
Hands-on Docker experience and container-based delivery workflows.
Experience setting up and maintaining automated build/test pipelines.
Experience building and maintaining data pipelines (structured data formats, schema validation, data versioning).
Strong understanding of microservice architectures, concurrency, resource management, distributed error handling, and common failure modes.
Clear written communication and comfort working in an R&D environment with evolving requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience building service APIs and defining stable interface contracts.
Familiarity with performance profiling and scaling of batch workloads.
Required Programing Expertise
Strong proficiency in Python and Rust for production-quality development..
Proficiency in at least one JVM language (Java, Scala, or Kotlin) for building scalable services and/or batch processing workflows.
Other Qualifications
Proficiency with Git.
Familiarity with Jira
Compensation
Salaried $108,906 to $112,174
Location & Citizenship U.S. Location only - work abroad NOT permitted due to contract restrictions. Remote work may be authorized. U.S. Citizenship is required due to the requirements of some government projects (NOTE: this is not a general company policy or requirement).
