About the Role Our growing organization seeks a dedicated and versatile IT Support Specialist to oversee our technology infrastructure and provide comprehensive support services for the entire team. The ideal candidate will serve as the cornerstone of our IT operations, ensuring seamless functionality across all systems while delivering exceptional technical assistance to all team members.
We are looking for someone who loves working with computers and helping others do so as well. You must be resourceful—if you don’t know the answer, you’ll use Stack Overflow, Reddit, or whatever source you can find, until the problem is resolved.

This role requires strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently. You must be able to manage your own time and organizational abilities effectively without constant supervision.
Remote Proficiency:
You must have the ability to work independently in a fully remote setting. We support an organization of up to 100 users, all remote.
Communication:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. You must be able to translate complex technical concepts into accessible language for remote colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
Device Administration: Manage and maintain
Windows
and
MacOS
operating systems across the organization. Use
Microsoft Intune
to manage device compliance, deploy software, and enforce security policies.
Identity & Access Management: Configure and manage
Microsoft Entra ID
(formerly Azure AD) for secure identity and access management. Administer and optimize
Google Workspace
and
Microsoft Office
productivity suites.
Help Desk Operations: Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT-related inquiries and issues. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network problems efficiently to minimize disruption to business operations.
Monitoring: Utilize
Datadog
to monitor infrastructure health and proactively identify potential issues before they impact operations.
Onboarding: Assist with onboarding new team members for all technology systems and ensure appropriate system access for all staff members.
Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of IT infrastructure and build an accessible knowledge base for the organization.
Advanced Troubleshooting: Utilize advanced troubleshooting techniques to find root causes and assist the Engineering team.
Reporting: Provide clear and detailed bug reports to the Engineering team.
Qualifications & Skills
Core OS: Comprehensive knowledge of
Windows
and
MacOS
operating systems.
Cloud Admin: Proficiency in administering
Google Workspace
and in-depth knowledge of
Microsoft Entra ID
(Azure AD).
Device Management: Experience with
Microsoft Intune
for device management.
Monitoring: Experience with
Datadog
or similar monitoring platforms.
Additional Tech: Experience configuring and maintaining VPN solutions, familiarity with Jira administration, and a basic understanding of SQL queries.
Experience & Education
Experience: 2–4 years of experience in IT support roles (Adjusted for Tier 1/2 level).
Remote Experience: Experience supporting organizations of similar sizes (Up to 100 users, all remote).
Education: Bachelor’s degree is required.
Certifications: Google Workspace Administrator, Intune and EntraID certifications are a bonus.

Benefits & Compensation
Basic Salary Range: $90,000- $110,000 annually. The salary range may be adjusted within this range based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience and specific needs of the job.
