Practice sustainable incident response and blameless post‑mortems. Participate in on‑call rotation and serve as an escalation contact for service incidents. Implement and maintain rigorous security best practices across all infrastructure, with a focus on minimizing attack surface and ensuring data integrity. Monitor system health and performance, proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact trading activity. Manage user queries and service requests often requiring in‑depth analysis of technical and business logic. Lead problem analysis and resolution of production incidents, prioritise issue tracking, and manage platform trading support initiatives (e.g., platform monitoring, reporting, release automation). Minimum Qualification

Experience with electronic trading platforms and OMS/EMS systems, ITIL practices (Incident, Problem, Change management), system monitoring platforms, and optimizing systems for lowest‑latency performance. Knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, FIX protocol, and low‑latency multicast (Aeron). Strong observability, debugging, performance tuning skills, and ability to explain root causes in plain language. Build tools for rapid triage, leveraging logs, telemetry, and traces to create Grafana or similar dashboards. Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) with IAM, profiles, policies, and service classes. Adapt workloads to cloud‑native technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, etc.). Deploy tooling (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Ansible). Programming experience in C, C++, Java, Python, or Go. Proficient in C++ build systems (CMake) and CI/CD pipelines. Working knowledge of backing services (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Kafka, RabbitMQ). Key Attributes Critical to Success
Strong interpersonal skills and clear communication with internal teams and external counterparts. Ability to analyse complex scenarios from both technical and business perspectives and deliver solutions. Sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines in a competing‑requirements environment. Proactivity and strong ownership ethos, ensuring queries are resolved through to completion. Desire and ability to deliver platform improvements. Preferred Qualification
Extensive DevOps experience for deployment automation and application‑level support, and experience as a Linux systems administrator. Extensive experience in a low‑latency electronic trading environment with emphasis on performance at all stages of infrastructure, network, and application design. Expertise in developing advanced observability capabilities (USE‑RED signals, tracing, front‑end observability, etc.). Bonus Points
Experience with hardware acceleration technologies (FPGAs, GPUs, LPU, TPU). Experience with financial data security regulations (PCI DSS, SOC 2). Familiarity with algorithmic trading strategies and quantitative analysis concepts. Inclusivity Statement
