The UKG Integration Analyst (Mid–Senior Level) is responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, and support of integrations between UKG solutions and internal/external systems. This role serves as a technical subject matter expert for data interfaces, ensuring seamless data flow across HR, Payroll, Benefits, Time & Attendance, Finance, and other enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate has strong experience with UKG integrations, data mapping, troubleshooting complex interfaces, and collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient solutions. Key Responsibilities
Integration Design & Development
Design, build, test, and deploy integrations between UKG Pro, UKG Dimensions, or other UKG platforms and third‑party systems. Configure inbound and outbound file feeds (API, SFTP, flat file, XML, EDI, etc.). Develop and maintain API‑based integrations using REST/SOAP web services where applicable. Translate business requirements into technical integration specifications and data mapping documents. Lead end‑to‑end testing efforts including unit, system, and user acceptance testing. Support & Troubleshooting
Monitor integration performance and resolve interface errors in a timely manner. Perform root cause analysis for data discrepancies and integration failures. Provide Tier 2/3 support for HRIS‑related integration issues. Maintain integration documentation and process flows. Stakeholder Collaboration
Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, IT, and external vendors to define integration requirements. Communicate technical concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders. Support system upgrades, enhancements, and new module implementations. Data Governance & Compliance
Ensure integrations comply with security protocols, data privacy regulations, and organizational policies. Maintain data integrity across systems. Support audit requests related to data transfers and system controls. Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual processes. Recommend best practices for integration architecture and optimization. Stay current on UKG updates, new functionality, and integration capabilities. Required Qualifications (Mid‑Level)
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, HRIS, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3–5+ years of HRIS or systems integration experience. Hands‑on experience integrating UKG systems (UKG Pro, UKG Dimensions, or related platforms). Experience with APIs, SFTP, data mapping, and file transfer protocols. Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational databases. Experience troubleshooting integration errors and performing root cause analysis. Additional Qualifications (Senior‑Level)
6–8+ years of HRIS and enterprise system integration experience. Experience leading complex, multi‑system integration projects. Deep knowledge of UKG integration tools (e.g., Integration Hub, Dell Boomi, or middleware platforms). Ability to mentor junior analysts and provide technical leadership. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with middleware platform Dell Boomi. Knowledge of payroll and workforce management data structures. Familiarity with SOX compliance and data security frameworks.
