The Fire Safety Engineer will report to a Fire Safety Operations Manager, support efforts, and be responsible for Ting Fire Safety Operations duties. You’ll be joining a small and experienced team of business leaders, engineers, and data scientists seeking to make the world a safer and more efficient place. Come join us!
Job Duties
Manage Ting customer cases focusing on electrical fire hazard operations, mitigation, and sensor‑related support activities, including after regular business hours as needed
Plan and coordinate support efforts related to mitigation activities with customers and contractor partners relating to Ting operations
Work with partners and customers to isolate and troubleshoot issues in the field
Data review and analysis
Technical project management
Assist with producing documentation related to processes used for training and support
Perform other duties as required
Requirements
Education and experience in science‑based disciplines/electrical systems with customer management/support experience, such as
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or related discipline
Associates degree in engineering, science, or related discipline with skilled trades experience and/or military background.
A skilled trades background with certifications/licenses and additional education and/or military service
Willingness and ability to participate as a member of a team in a rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Travel as needed
