OpenLoop is seeking a
Mergers and Acquisition Counsel
to join our team remotely or at our HQ in Des Moines, IA. In this role, you will lead legal efforts related to mergers, acquisitions, strategic investments, and other corporate transactions. You will play a key role in scaling the company by identifying and executing growth opportunities within the digital health landscape. This position offers a unique chance to collaborate directly with senior leadership, corporate development, and cross-functional teams to shape the future of virtual care. What You'll Do
Lead all legal aspects of formations, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements and ancillary documents, including confidentiality agreements and letters of intent Manage outside counsel in connection with the above Assist in other transactional tasks and support all aspects of corporate matters Who You Are
Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school and active license to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction 3-7 years of M&A experience Proficient in M&A and private equity transaction structuring Expertise in securities law, compliance, and regulatory matters Strong drafting and review skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage multiple projects Experience working as a key member of deal teams and managing due diligence through closing Remote Salary Range: $115,000 USD - $140,000 USD
