Reliability Technician Location: Grange Castle, Clondalkin Duration: Permanent Hours: 39 Hours Per week (08:00 to 16:30) Overview of the role; We are looking for a Reliability Technician to join our Pharma Operations team in Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically skilled maintenance professional who enjoys problem-solving, working with modern monitoring technologies, and playing a key role in keeping a highly regulated site running reliably and safely. The successful candidate will support proactive maintenance strategies that improve equipment uptime, strengthen plant performance, and help drive continuous improvement across the site. Day to Day of the role; Carry out condition-based maintenance activities identified through CBM checks. Complete work orders accurately using the CMMS/EAMS system. Use remote monitoring tools to assess plant condition and respond to alarms. Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis when equipment issues arise. Perform inspections and monitoring using technologies such as vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasonic testing, air leak surveys, steam trap surveys, oil analysis, and power quality monitoring. Record plant conditions clearly for audit and compliance purposes. Contribute to reliability strategy development and help identify opportunities to improve maintenance effectiveness. Support safe start-up activities, pre-start-up safety reviews, and permit-to-work processes. Work closely with Engineering, Utilities, Operations, EHS, and external vendors to resolve issues and improve reliability. Requirements for the role; A National Craft Certificate, diploma, degree, or equivalent in a mechanical or electrical discipline. Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, food, dairy, brewery, or other regulated environments. Strong understanding of mechanical, building services, and utilities systems, including HVAC, pumps, compressors, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, clean steam, purified water, refrigeration, and process gases. Hands-on experience with CBM technologies such as vibration analysis, ultrasonic testing, thermal imaging, and motor signature analysis. Experience working with CMMS systems such as SAP, EAMS, or Maximo. Ability to read P&IDs, technical drawings, manuals, and vendor documentation. Good knowledge of SOPs, GMP/cGMP systems, permit-to-work processes, and risk assessments. Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills, with a methodical and collaborative approach. Good organisational skills Worked in a Pharmaceutical, Brewery, Dairy, Food Industry. Worked in a regulated Industry (FDA, IMB, NSAI) Experience in CBM technologies such as Vibration analysis, Ultrasonic testing, Thermal imaging. Good documentation skills Use computerised maintenance management work order system (Sap. Maximo) Work with a manufacturing operations and maintenance engineering Team Time management Fluent English speaker Ability to interact and communicate well with End users.
