Position Summary Nocturne Luxury Villas is seeking a skilled Web Developer to join our team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented technical professional who thrives on precision and depth of expertise. You'll take ownership of our production systems, maintaining and enhancing our custom CMS while managing multiple web properties simultaneously. Working closely with both internal teams and external vendors, you'll ensure our digital platforms deliver flawless experiences across all our luxury villa brands. This position requires a methodical approach to code quality, a strong command of modern web technologies, and the ability to dive deep into complex technical challenges while maintaining stability across interconnected systems.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain web applications using PHP (CodeIgniter), Node.js, and JavaScript.
Support and extend a custom CMS.
Manage multiple sites and versions running on the same CMS or shared framework.
Handle multiple active projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and deadlines.
Coordinate with the external CMS vendor on enhancements, fixes, and platform changes.
Implement features while ensuring cross-site compatibility and stability.
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance.
Use Git to manage branches, releases, and deployments across environments.
Clone sites, update UI elements requiring strong HTML and CSS knowledge.
Maintain clean, well-documented, production-ready code.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
A four-year college degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems or equivalent is required.
A minimum of 4 years of professional web development experience.
Working knowledge of Node.js and modern JavaScript, React etc.
Demonstrated experience working within CMS-based platforms, including custom CMS.
Experience managing multiple websites or versions from a shared codebase.
Proficiency with Git and structured release workflows.
Experience with MySQL or similar relational databases.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
Internal role with ownership of production systems.
Must be comfortable context-switching across projects and brands.
Occasional off-hours support during releases or incidents is required.
Fluent English (written and spoken)
Compensation & Benefits Annual Salary:
$90,000 - $100,000
Bonus:
Eligible for a target bonus up to 20% of the annual base salary, subject to applicable deductions and withholdings. For 2026, the bonus will be pro-rated for the portion of the year employed.
