Responsibilities: - This position will be a Home Office location. - Manage, plan, organize and implement sales programs to achieve sales objectives for the given territory. - Heavy agency call schedule and distribution sales activity. - Create a sales pipeline of opportunities. - Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships. - Lead generation and follow-up. - Prepare presentations and proposals when needed. - Identify new sales opportunities. - Call on key accounts in the architectural, design and engineering community. - Train sales agents on our products and capabilities. - Participate in local and national trade shows. - Collaborate with the product design and marketing team on new product ideas. - Coordinate with the engineering department on requests for custom products. - Develop sales forecasts for the territory. - Additional duties assigned as necessary to achieve success. - Develop and maintain sales materials and product knowledge. Job Requirements
Requirements: - 7 years sales experience, preferably in the lighting industry. - Willingness to travel up to 70% overnight within the territory. - Established relationships with Agencies / Distribution. - 5+ years of sales management experience. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Customer service oriented. - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. - Ability to develop and deliver sales presentations. - Proven track record in meeting quotas. - Currently residing in the market. - Good technical/application experience including lighting upgrades, energy audits, and fixture counts; strong understanding of the relationship between agents, distribution and ESCOs. - Strong work ethic, self-motivation, sales acumen and the entrepreneurial drive to succeed. - Fluent in Korean and English.
