Responsibilities
Maintain a high level of awareness within the customer to identify industry trends and competitive activity within the Aerospace & Defense markets
Obtain new opportunities/projects, increase market share, and manage the project pipeline for your dedicated NL customer base
Drive sales growth through maximization of resources and execution of market segment strategies
Build customer relationships through dedicated customer accounts
Stay in permanent direct contact (visits, email, phone) with the customer to ensure ongoing support and communication
Promote TE Connectivity product portfolio & new technologies to the customer
Integrated business planning / S&OP Sales Forecasting
Prepare the Strategic Account Plan for key customers
Active participation in reviewing/supporting customer Business reviews
Conduct market analysis & Platform mapping
Provide monthly reporting of Sales figures and Project Status
Identify Sales opportunities and convert them into won business
Negotiate price and provide quotations
Facilitate complex engineering projects
Coordinate responses for Logistics and Quality-related issues
Background and Experience
Technical and commercial education or relevant experience in an industrial environment
8 or more years of relevant experience in account management in the components industry (desirable)
Professional level of business acumen and strong commercial understanding
Proven track record in business development and ability to pursue new business opportunities
Clear strategic thinker capable of executing on priorities
Project Management Experience - facilitating complex projects
Excellent organizational skills
Flexibility and willingness to travel
Self‑motivated with ability to perform in a demanding environment
Strong communication, selling, negotiation, and presentation skills
Target and results‑driven
Experience with Microsoft Office, SAP, and Salesforce (desirable)
Competencies SET: Strategy, Execution, Talent (for managers)
Compensation
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $128,200 – $192,300 (subject to change depending on physical location)
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
