We are looking for an experienced System Administrator who has a growth mindset. In this role, this individual will be responsible for the health, security, and efficiency of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in managing users, applications, and policies within Okta and is committed to maintaining a secure and streamlined access experience for our employees.
Responsibilities
Install and configure software and hardware.
Manage IT help desk and technology tools.
Provision accounts and configure & deploy workstations.
Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements.
Manage and support company‑wide SaaS tools, including Slack, Atlassian, Google Workspace, and others.
Manage MDM policies and endpoint patching (Jamf, Intune, Kandji).
Ensure security policies are followed.
Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies.
Maintain an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies.
Follow the change management process.
Maintain accurate asset inventory.
Perform other IT related responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience.
Proven experience as an IT Specialist, IS Technician, or similar role.
Experience with endpoint deployment, network (LAN, WAN) and patch management.
Knowledge of system security.
Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms, specifically Google Workspace, Slack, JAMF, Intune, macOS, and Ubuntu.
Resourcefulness and problem‑solving aptitude.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to analyze and prioritize incoming requests and alerts.
Self‑motivated and research‑driven.
Availability off hours for urgent requests and weekly IT meetings.
