Job Overview We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer who is a master of their craft and a forward-thinker passionate about the future of software development. You will be a key contributor to our core platform, designing and building scalable, high-performance services.
This role goes beyond a typical engineering position. We are looking for someone excited by the practical application of AI to enhance our development processes. You will be empowered to explore and implement AI-powered tools to boost developer velocity, improve code quality, and automate complex tasks. A strong sense of user experience will be critical, as you will build features that are technically sound and intuitive for our users.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web services for our core B2B SaaS application.
Write clean, high-quality, and well-tested code, primarily in Ruby and Go.
Architect and manage complex database schemas and queries using PostgreSQL.
Lead initiatives to research, prototype, and implement AI-powered tools to accelerate our software development lifecycle—from intelligent code completion and automated reviews to advanced CI/CD pipeline optimizations.
Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to translate complex user requirements into elegant, user-centric solutions.
Mentor other engineers, champion best practices, and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements & Skills
5+ years and deep proficiency in the full stack of B2B SaaS; Front end: vanilla HTML/CSS/JS; Back end: Go preferred, Ruby/Python/PHP ok; Database: PostgreSQL
A product-first mindset with the ability to think from the user's perspective and a keen eye for user experience and design.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to architect solutions for complex, distributed systems.
Strong communication skills and a desire to work in a highly collaborative environment.
