Position Overview The Deployment Engineer will play an integral role in delivering our products to clients, collaborating closely with the commercial and engineering teams to ensure a seamless sales, integration, and deployment process. This position requires a highly organised and technically proficient individual with strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
The crux of the role will involve travel around North America to deploy our robots within warehouse sites. It is crucial you are able to travel for 1-2 weeks at a time.
Key Responsibilities
Comprehensive technical understanding of computer systems, with prior experience in autonomous hardware systems or computer vision applications preferred.
Proven hands-on experience with hardware in operational environments, including system assembly, disassembly, and on-site debugging.
Serve as the primary customer contact for the deployment and installation of hardware and software platforms.
Coordinate with customers to plan and schedule installations, incorporating mechanical, electrical, software, and network components.
Conduct on-site visits to execute system setup, configuration, calibration, and troubleshooting in accordance with project specifications.
Develop, maintain, and update installation, deployment, operational, and troubleshooting documentation for both customers and internal stakeholders.
Maintain effective communication with customers to resolve technical issues and ensure successful completion of deployment activities.
What we need from you
Strong software debugging and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to address technical challenges effectively on customer premises.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences.
Valid driving license required.
