À propos

Ippolito Christon & Co. is seeking an experienced
Senior Valuation Consultant / Senior Valuation Analyst
to support a growing pipeline of valuation, transaction, and litigation-related work in the beverage distribution sector.
This is a
fully remote, U.S.-based independent contractor role
with the potential for significant ongoing hours for the right person. It is an excellent opportunity for a highly analytical valuation professional who wants substantive, specialized work in a flexible structure.
About Ippolito Christon & Co. Ippolito Christon & Co. has provided
business valuation and transaction services since 1986
and has prepared
more than 700 valuations
of closely held beer, wine, spirits, and soft drink beverage companies. The firm has also advised on
more than 150 transactions
and is known for its expertise in valuing
family-owned beverage businesses and distribution rights
using a Free Cash Flow methodology grounded in projected cash flows rather than simple rules of thumb.
The firm works with clients across major beverage brands nationwide and supports matters involving business sales, brand-rights transactions, stockholder buy-sell arrangements, succession, estate and gift tax planning, IRS disputes, divorce proceedings, acquisition financing, and expert witness consultation in litigation.
What you’ll do You’ll partner closely with firm leadership on a range of sophisticated advisory and analytical engagements, including:
Business valuations for closely held beverage distributors and related companies
Fair market value, fair value, and strategic value analyses
Income, market, and asset-based valuation work
DCF / free cash flow modeling and present value analysis
Valuation of distributor rights, franchise rights, territories, and brand portfolios
Buy-sell, estate and gift, shareholder, and succession-related engagements
Litigation support, damages analysis, lost profits analysis, and expert consulting
Transaction advisory support on buy-side and sell-side assignments
Preparation of written reports and client-ready analyses that can withstand scrutiny from clients, counsel, and other advisors
What we’re looking for We’re looking for a senior-level professional with strong technical rigor, sound judgment, and excellent communication skills.
Preferred qualifications
CPA preferred
NACVA Certified Valuation Analyst ( CVA) strongly preferred
ABV, MAFF, ASA, or similar valuation / forensic credentials are a plus
Significant experience in
business valuation, transaction advisory, financial advisory, litigation support, forensic accounting, or expert consulting
Strong command of
Excel-based financial modeling , valuation methodology, and written report preparation
Ability to analyze key business drivers such as profitability, working capital, supplier concentration, margin structure, route density, operating costs, and normalization adjustments
Experience preparing defensible analyses for use in transactions, disputes, tax matters, or other formal proceedings
Comfort working independently in a contractor capacity while collaborating with attorneys, CPAs, owners, and other professional advisors
Ideal background This role may be especially attractive to someone who has built meaningful valuation experience and wants:
a more flexible, project-based structure
intellectually rigorous work without a traditional firm grind
exposure to a niche where
industry economics, intangible rights, and valuation judgment
really matter
the opportunity to contribute across valuation, transaction support, and litigation-related matters
Direct beverage-industry experience is helpful, but not required. Deep valuation capability, analytical horsepower, and high-quality writing matter most.
Why this role stands out This is not a generic valuation role. It is a chance to work with a long-established, highly specialized firm with deep credibility in a unique sector where intangible value, distributor rights, and transaction complexity are central to the work. Ippolito Christon emphasizes informed intrinsic-value analysis rather than relying on simplistic price-per-case shortcuts, and the firm assists clients through a broad range of transaction-management activities, from valuation and buyer outreach through negotiation support and acquisition financing.
There is also potential for additional upside tied to business development and transaction-related success fees, depending on contribution and fit.
