À propos

We are seeking a senior, hands‑on
Research Operations Contractor
to own the
day‑to‑day operational execution
of a large, longitudinal, patient‑facing research program. This role is execution‑focused. It does
not
include responsibility for study strategy, statistical analysis, or people management, all of which are handled internally. This role requires
exceptional attention to detail , strong organizational discipline, and
clear, proactive communication . It is not suitable for someone who is comfortable with ambiguity but inconsistent follow‑through. The contractor will be accountable for keeping complex research operations running cleanly, accurately, and on schedule over an extended period, with variable hours by study phase and minimal day‑to‑day oversight. This is a remote contract role of approximately
300 hours over ~12 months . Candidates must work in Eastern Standard Time. Key Responsibilities
Execute and manage day‑to‑day research operations for a multi‑phase, longitudinal study with a high degree of accuracy and consistency. Manage participant operations, including coordination, engagement tracking, incentives, and issue resolution, ensuring no details fall through the cracks. Coordinate logistics and fulfillment (getting products into research participants' hands) with external vendors and internal teams; anticipate, track, and resolve exceptions. Maintain complete, organized, audit‑ready study documentation and support IRB, privacy, and regulatory requirements. Track timelines, dependencies, and operational tasks using project management tools; ensure precise follow‑through. Communicate clearly and professionally with internal project leads and client stakeholders, escalating issues early and appropriately. Identify operational risks and propose practical, detail‑oriented solutions to maintain study continuity. Required Experience
5+ years of hands‑on experience
executing complex research studies (health, clinical, UX, or similar). Demonstrated experience with
participant‑facing, longitudinal, or compliance‑sensitive research . A proven track record of
exceptional attention to detail , organization, and documentation accuracy. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience interacting directly with internal teams and external clients. Ability to operate independently as a contractor in a low‑hours, long‑duration engagement. Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Asana) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Prior exposure to IRB‑governed research or formal research compliance training is strongly preferred. As part of the application, we will ask candidates to complete a short written exercise (max 300 words) to help us assess attention to detail and operational thinking. About dQ&A
