part‑time Accountant
who shares our love for both
numbers and horses
and can reconcile QuickBooks as easily as she or he can understand a horse show schedule. Responsibilities
Manage bookkeeping for multiple equine clients in QuickBooks Online Prepare and file business and individual tax returns Review and adjust client books for year‑end readiness Communicate directly with clients to explain financial results Support the development of HoofBooks SOPs and client onboarding systems Contribute ideas to improve efficiency and reporting Qualifications
Experience in accounting, tax preparation, or bookkeeping (5+ years preferred) Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Excel Strong understanding of tax filing for small businesses Excellent communication and attention to detail Bonus: background in or passion for the horse industry Benefits
