WHO YOU ARE The Associate I, Carrier Solutions is a professional within the financial services industry with effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. WHAT YOU’LL DO The Associate I, Carrier Solutions will provide customers and sales representatives with high quality, individualized phone support, process requests for information, and conduct research and analysis to ensure successful outcomes when complexities arise.
Answer incoming calls and complete outgoing calls as needed.
Answer customer questions and provide comprehensive customer support.
Accurately and timely complete service requests related to contract level transactions and provide confirmation of contract level information.
Research and analyze issues to ensure successful outcomes and resolution.
Develop relationships with clients and customers by becoming a dedicated resource.
Ensure high quality and consistency to customers by processing and servicing.
Develop a broad understanding of products, services, policies, procedures, regulations, and laws for effective service delivery.
Handle contract level service requests including initial contract applications, billings, purchases, transfers, redemptions, claims, and other financial and non-financial transactions and elections.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
1 to 2+ years’ experience providing customer service and transaction processing support.
1 to 2+ years’ call center experience.
Financial services experience preferred.
Work history demonstrating personal growth and aptitude for advancement.
Strong PC and keyboarding skills and ability to use Microsoft Office products.
Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with other internal teams and associates.
Incumbents must be able to work required overtime.
