À propos

This is probably one of the most honest job ads you'll ever read. We wrote it that way on purpose — so you don't waste your time, and neither do we. We are a fast-growing consumer protection law firm. We fight for ordinary people — your neighbors, your family members — against greedy debt collectors, predatory dealers, and institutions that take advantage of vulnerable folks every day. We win for clients because we are tenacious, organized, and relentless. We need a paralegal who is all of those things, too.
Who you are
You think in outlines, chronologies, and indexes.
You see an opportunity for organization where other people see a mess.
Your middle name is "No Drama."
You smile when you answer the phone — even when the person on the other end doesn't.
You have a long fuse, but you know how to be persistent and stand your ground professionally.
You are an amazing juggler of tasks and can change gears without losing your place.
You do not think scanning, filing, or following up are "beneath you."
You are self-directed. You figure things out. You do not need hand-holding.
Deadlines are not suggestions to you — they are promises.
What we offer
Competitive salary based on experience
Performance-based bonus opportunities
Fully remote — work from anywhere
A team that works hard, wins together, and actually likes each other
Meaningful work — you will help real people fight back against powerful institutions
This job is not for you if You are a chronic excuse-maker, a late responder, easily distracted, or someone who checks out at 5:01. We are fair, we are human, and we make room for real life — but we need someone who brings their best to work every day and takes ownership of their mistakes when they happen.
Responsibilities
Drafting and filing motions, discovery requests and responses, notices, orders, and correspondence
Managing a busy litigation calendar — court deadlines, depositions, hearings, follow-ups
Communicating regularly with clients to gather information and provide case updates
Coordinating with opposing counsel, courts, and third parties
Organizing and maintaining case files using Clio and Google Workspace
Preparing trial materials and supporting deposition and hearing prep
Federal and state court e-filing
Qualifications
Candidates must have completed an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor’s degree preferred
3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting
Completion of a nationally-accredited paralegal program strongly preferred
Excellent organizational skills, and time-management skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
If the words “initial disclosures,” “motion to continue,” or “Bates stamping” are unfamiliar to you, this is not the right position. Please do not apply.
Compensation $55,000 - $60,000 yearly
