divh2Store Clerk/h2pAs our Store Clerk, you will handle all aspects of merchandise while working to ensure our guests and customers receive quality customer service. This position may require flexible scheduling availability./ph3Job Requirements/h3ulliGreet customers, answer the telephone courteously, and complete all sales transactions/liliEnsure merchandise inventory is kept neat, attractively displayed, and sufficiently stocked/liliCommunicate inventory shortages to the Resort Manager and Store Supervisor/liliOperate cash register, fuel console, lottery machine, money order machine, and telecom transactions/liliReceive payment from customers in cash, check, or credit card and accurately count and provide change when applicable/liliReports cash shortages to the Resort Manager as needed/liliAssist with merchandise orders, receive and verify vendor deliveries, and stock merchandise as requested/liliMaintain a good working relationship with vendors/liliPerform shift opening and closing duties as assigned by Store Supervisor/liliGreet and registers overnight campers and provide passes to registered guests/liliClean and maintain both the inside and outside areas of the store/liliInspect store facilities and equipment to ensure the safety, cleanliness, and proper working order/liliReport all issues to Resort Manager and Store Supervisor when applicable/liliBecome proficient in the Resort reservation system to assist with Guest service when needed/li/ulh3Job Qualifications/h3ulliBasic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internet/liliExcellent written and verbal communication skills/liliReadily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service/li/ulpThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. The number of hours you will be scheduled to work during the week is variable and is based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors.
