We are looking for a Late Shift QA Supervisor to strengthen technical leadership across Walker & Son and Abbey Bakery. This role is critical in closing the gap between day and night operations, ensuring consistent quality oversight during peak production and key handover periods where risk is elevated and senior support is less accessible. Reporting to the QA Manager, you will provide visible, shift-based leadershipensuring compliance, driving standards, and protecting product integrity across both sites. Provide technical leadership during late shift operations, ensuring consistent QA oversight across both sites Drive robust HACCP implementation, including real-time CCP verification and immediate escalation of any deviations Oversee GMP, hygiene, and environmental monitoring programmes to maintain high site standards Manage incident escalation, investigations, and non-conformance processes to ensure timely resolution Ensure full compliance with retailer Codes of Practice, internal standards, and audit requirements The Ideal Candidate

Proven experience in QA or Technical roles within chilled food or FMCG manufacturing HACCP Level 3 and Level 3 Food Hygiene (minimum) Strong understanding of CCPs, environmental monitoring, and microbiological risk (including Listeria control) Confident communicator with the ability to challenge, influence, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and manage priorities during shift coverage We also want you to thrive in an engaging and inclusive work culture where you will have the opportunity to take on personal accountability and take pride in your work.
