Sr. Internal Auditor – Ensemble Ensemble is a leading provider of technology-enabled revenue cycle management solutions for health systems. Compensation
Base salary starts at $84,000.00; final compensation determined by experience.

Responsibilities
Execute multiple concurrent audits and projects under limited supervision, managing project timelines and milestones.
Prepare concise, accurate audit reports summarizing scope, objectives, observations, and value‑added recommendations with root‑cause analysis.
Coach audit client to draft and monitor effective management action plans (MAPs), validating completion dates.
Develop and maintain strong written and verbal communications, structuring messages clearly and concisely.
Informally coach and train staff members.
Champion the Internal Audit vision, inspiring collaboration toward a common purpose.
Participate in annual risk assessment interviews, preparing research notes for leadership review.
Lead by example, challenging the status quo in audit and business operations.
Stay informed on legislative developments, audit regulations/trends, and new audit methodology affecting healthcare revenue cycle services.
Apply continuous improvement methods and data analytics, including AI, to enhance audit effectiveness and efficiency.
Perform duties in accordance with accepted professional standards, maintaining independence, objectivity, and compliance with GAAP, FASB, and IIA principles.
Qualifications
5–7 years of similar experience.
Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle operations, accounting/finance, or IT.
Awareness of accounting and auditing principles, including GAAP, FASB, IIA, and SOX Sections 302 & 404.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and project management skills.
Ability to identify business risks and efficiency improvements.
Strong interpersonal skills and relationship‑building ability.
Capability to balance multiple competing projects and communicate status, issues, and requirements at all business levels.
Knowledge of revenue cycle information systems (e.g., Epic, Meditech, other RCM solutions).
Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and data extraction tools.
Inquisitive and open to innovation, including AI, to improve processes and patient/client experiences.
Remote position; willingness and ability to travel to client, temporary, or corporate offices as needed.
Required Certifications
CIA, CHIAP, CPA – if not already obtained, working toward a certification.
HFMA Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) or willingness to obtain within 18 months.
Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Finance/Accounting preferred.
