The Role We are currently seeking a Compliance Analyst. As a Compliance Analyst you will be responsible for researching and assisting in the maintenance of compliance programs, policies, and procedures. You will also provide support for a variety of other legal and compliance functions that support internal operations at Addepar. As a key member of our growing team, you will focus on supporting our current business needs and crafting the future growth and development of the team, both individually and collectively.
Addepar takes a market‑based approach to pay. A successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on the role, job‑related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for roles in Colorado, California, and New York. The current range for this role is $69,000 - $107,000 (base salary) plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without requiring current or future visa sponsorship (for example, employment‑based visas such as H‑1B, F‑1/OPT, or similar), and must be authorized to begin work in the U.S. on their first day of employment.
What You’ll Do
Support the design and implementation of scalable, repeatable compliance and risk assessment workflows, including intake, escalation, documentation, and follow‑up.
Implement and maintain a broad range of compliance policies and procedures.
Proactively monitor and research relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards pertinent to the fintech industry and the regulated sectors our clients operate in, including AI, data privacy, KYC/AML, and international expansion, to continuously refine processes as the regulatory landscape evolves.
Conduct compliance risk assessments and audits.
Develop and deliver compliance training programs to employees to reinforce a strong culture of compliance and understanding of relevant regulations and internal policies.
Identify and implement opportunities to leverage AI and automation tools to streamline compliance tracking and reduce manual overhead.
Partner closely with cross‑functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Sales, and Legal, so that compliance considerations are seamlessly integrated into all aspects of the business lifecycle.
Build dashboards and prepare recurring reports for leadership on program health and key initiatives.
Collaborate with legal team members to update privacy policies, contractual terms, and data processing agreements as needed.
Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience from an accredited college or university.
1–3 years of relevant experience.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Thorough with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
Highly collaborative and capable of working cross‑functionally with Sales, Finance, Information Security, Services, Compliance, Engineering, Product, and Marketing teams in a fast‑paced work environment.
Experience and curiosity about new and emerging technologies and associated regulatory implications.
