The BIM Engineer is on the journey toward technical management and production excellence. Here, the inquisitive mind applies its focus, intelligence, and technical skill to engineer the solutions we want to become known for. The Engineer is beginning their path toward technical mastery by learning the rules of creativity and innovation and delivering our products on time or early. BIM Engineers are the gears to our BIM and VDC machine, producing the highest quality products, including highly detailed, constructible models and shop drawings. This position revolves around using software and hardware applications to address intricate challenges in construction and engineering, particularly on expansive projects spanning aviation, transportation, civil, commercial, and mission critical sectors. It is a prime opportunity for individuals eager to cultivate technical expertise in the construction and engineering domain. As an Engineer, you will actively work with the VDC Specialist, VDC Manager, and the project team; progressively enhancing your proficiency in BIM applications to make valuable contributions to project achievements. This role entails a proactive approach to work, an ability to perform well under pressure without compromising quality, and demands attention to detail, reliability, effective communication, and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities
Revit modeling & detailing following CTS standards. Revit modeling from point clouds, representing the captured reality, meeting the criteria established for the project (LOA30 or less). Assist in developing training and contributing to producing material (English, Portuguese, or Spanish). Ensure that all drawings (CD, P&ID, profiles, and similar) are marked up as needed and any project issues are reported during the project design review. Review & understand project specifications with great attention to detail. Identify and track issues or clashes using Navisworks and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC Issues) Maintain project status in CTS’s preferred project management platform (ClickUp). Read and interpret documents in English. Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong communication & collaboration skills to ensure clarity in project coordination and stakeholder collaboration. Ability to work independently when needed and stay on task Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Autodesk Construction Cloud. Knowledge of construction workflows Knowledge of mechanical and/or plumbing systems design, pipe routing, and IMC compliance. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate and address challenges proactively. Experience with data management, ensuring organized and accurate project documentation. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and deliver high-quality work under pressure. 3+ years of experience in the AEC industry. Revit Certified Associate or professional certification preferred. AGC Certificate of Management – BIM (CM-BIM) is a plus. What We Offer
