MLabs is hiring an experienced
Senior Solidity Engineer
to support a large-scale financial technology program for a UAE-based client. You will work on smart contract development within a blockchain ecosystem that integrates enterprise financial systems with distributed ledger technology. This role requires strong Solidity expertise and a solid understanding of secure smart contract architecture in production environments. You will collaborate closely with backend engineers (Java), blockchain infrastructure teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver secure and scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy secure smart contracts using Solidity
Implement and optimize contract architecture for scalability and gas efficiency
Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate smart contracts with enterprise services
Conduct code reviews and enforce smart contract security best practices
Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities in blockchain applications
Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to system design decisions
Support testing, auditing, and deployment processes
Qualifications
5+ years of software engineering experience
Strong hands‑on experience with Solidity in production environments
Experience deploying and maintaining smart contracts on EVM-compatible networks
Strong understanding of smart contract security patterns and vulnerabilities
Experience with testing frameworks (Hardhat, Foundry, Truffle, etc.)
Experience integrating smart contracts with backend services
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments
Preferred
Experience in fintech, trading, or regulated financial systems
Exposure to Layer‑1 blockchain architecture
Experience working in distributed remote teams
Understanding of backend technologies (Java experience is a plus)
