We are hiring a technical professional to support the development and structuring of our carbon projects. This role is open to candidates based in any country, provided they are available to work in time zones compatible with Latin America or Africa. We are looking for someone organized, analytical, and comfortable working with technical documentation, financial spreadsheets, environmental data, and carbon methodologies. This person will directly support the preparation of PDDs, technical analyses, financial models, and the materials required for project development, validation, and implementation. Main responsibilities:
Support the preparation of PDDs and technical documents for carbon projects. Organize technical, environmental, land, production, and financial information related to the projects. Assist in the preparation and review of financial spreadsheets, cost estimates, revenue projections, and feasibility analyses. Support technical analyses related to carbon methodologies, eligibility, additionality, baseline, monitoring, and risks. Contribute to the organization of evidence, data, and documents required for validation, verification, and audits. Work closely with technical, commercial, legal, and operational teams. Support the standardization of templates, internal controls, and processes related to carbon projects. Ideal profile:
Academic background or experience in environmental engineering, forestry engineering, agronomy, biology, geography, economics, business administration, sustainability, or related fields. Knowledge of or strong interest in carbon markets, AFOLU projects, reforestation, restoration, conservation, regenerative agriculture, or ESG. Strong ability to work with spreadsheets, technical documents, and data organization. Attention to detail and ability to follow methodologies, criteria, and documentation requirements. Technical English is mandatory. Spanish is a strong advantage. Experience with Verra, Gold Standard, ARR, REDD+, VM0047, VM0042, PDDs, MRV, or carbon inventories will be highly valued.d Availability to work in time zones compatible with Latin America or Africa is required.
