We are seeking an experienced Senior Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer to join our team. This role will focus on developing, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise-level AEM solutions while collaborating closely with clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate brings strong programming expertise, deep experience with AEM 6.5 On-Premise, and the ability to work in an Agile development environment.
This is a customer-facing role, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain applications using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) 6.5 On-Premise
Build reusable components and templates using Adobe HTL (Sightly)
Develop and maintain backend services using Java (11 or 17)
Collaborate with product owners, designers, and stakeholders in an Agile development environment
Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and architecture discussions
Troubleshoot and resolve application performance and stability issues
Work directly with clients to gather requirements and provide technical guidance
Ensure high-quality code through testing, documentation, and best practices
Required Qualifications
3-5 years of professional programming experience
Strong hands-on experience with:
Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) 6.5 On-Premise
Adobe HTL (Sightly)
Java (11 and/or 17)
Experience working within Agile development methodologies
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills (client-facing experience preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Experience developing unit tests and test automation
Exposure to project management or technical leadership
Experience working with distributed teams
